Binford

I did my first bit of yard work today. I wish I could say it was more than watering, and mowing, but it truly wasn’t. After many feeble attempts to get my brand-spanking-new (to me) lawn mower started, it finally got the hang of it. Sad thing is, it’s too fast for my yard. I mowed my lawn in about 30 minutes… including the start up time for the mower of about 5 minutes.

I am biding my time until I get some tools to do some dirt pushing, until then Im focusing on getting things healthy again with some water in areas I think need it. I’ve got two bushes out front that had a tremendous amount of snow dumped on them. Not knowing any better, I just left the snow where it was… now half the bushes look like they’re dying.

I also learned that one of my water spouts is broken. It doesn’t shut tight without using a tool… so it leaks… another leak. This would be the third leaky discovery I have had since moving into this place. Lame.

Lastly, I washed my scooter with dish soap… can’t make that a regular occurrence, but it looked good afterwards… minus the $1900 worth of damage on the right side.
