That’s it, I’m tired of twitter being down. We need to get de-centralized twittering capability, like now. Who’s with me to build an open source twitter app?

What you see above is my bedroom door setup, or at least the one I’m about to build. Since late last week I’ve been living in my basement due to Utah’s increasing heat. As such, I’ve decided to dip into a bit of my savings to frame a door in, sheetrock, paint and clean up the room a bit.
One may ask why the complexity with the slanted design, well it boils down to the previous builders putting a window right where the door would normally go. I could come out to the left and box it out, but it would only give me a 22″ landing area… not good.

Being sick has seriously killed my tennis game. I haven’t played in almost a week.

I’ve always found that the smaller the developer, the more nimble, and the more likely issues get resolved and features get added over a bigger developer. This is the david vs. goliath scenario in software development. Apple vs. Microsoft, Panic vs. Adobe, Open Source vs. Closed Source, etc. etc.
Almost a year ago, as I got back into designing more websites/iPhone web apps I decided to take a look at Coda, Panic Software’s Web Design app that competes squarely with Dreamweaver and maybe even to a larger degree, textmate.
Anyone who uses Dreamweaver and feels like it’s sluggish should check out coda, it’s smaller, faster, and has more readily accessible features than Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver seems bloated to me now, and lacks the tools I really need to effeciently write up a website.

For those that don’t know, this month is national bike month. This week in particular happens to also be national ride-your-bike-to-work week. Get on it.
